This trail is a real challenge for all nature lovers who want to explore the best of Maleshevo in one day. The trail starts from Berovo Lake itself and leads you on a serious but fulfilling climb through dense forest belts. After just an hour of walking, you will have the opportunity to experience the authentic mountain life at Bachilo Kalamadevski, before climbing to the highest point – Babin Chukar. From here, the view opens to the mighty Ograzden mountain and the distant peaks of Belasica, offering landscapes that are long remembered.
What makes this trail special is its historical and spiritual layer. Passing through the archaeological site of Turtela, dating back to the 4th century, you will touch the ancient past of this region. The road further leads you past the church of St. Ilija and through the picturesque village of Dvorishte, where traditional architecture still persists. The finish on Mount Ograzden, at the Bela Voda locality, is a perfect end to this 20-kilometer odyssey, where nature rewards you with peace and quiet under the shadows of the beech forest.
