Berovo lake is 6 km far from Berovo, on the way to the border Klepalo. The dam was built in 1970 and it is 60 metres tall which makes it one of the biggest arc dams in Macedonia. The shores of the lake are covered with lush pine and deciduous forest. The plains are rich with colorful flowers, berries and various teas.

In order to enrich the space for recreation, there is a bike and hike trail around the lake and there is a chance for sport fishing, too. Along the lake, there are big villas which can be rented; there are wonderful spots for a picnic, recreation and sports. The urban plan for development of the area foresees places for building holiday cottages, hotel complexes and other entertaining content, bearing in mind not to disturb the natural balance.
